Hi all,
I have a problem with OGR layer.

Piero,
It seems the DSN is different in the 2 examples below. Is this intentional?
You should also make sure that the same gdal dll is actually used by
ogrinfo and mapserver.
Best regards,

Just to remember for new users of MapServer (like me):
Error like:

For MapServer, you must copy the
Hi David,
Thanks for your answer, I've learnt a lot with it and googling around.
I am now sure that the problem is with the projection of the data, but
I don't know how to configure it in the layer.
If I do the WMS query that I want, I get:
msWMSLoadGetParams(): WMS Server error. Invalid SRS
Is there a way to server transparent 8 bit palleted png files using
the GD driver to a wms service?

I have found that:
- for blank image: I swapped Latitude and Longitude (when doing copy and
paste...my mistake...)
-I still have strange behaviour:

Is there a way to perform something like a spatial query on a shapefile?
I need to take an address and determine if my widgets are near it. I
know this is typically done with geocoding and polygon analysis tools,
which MapServer does not supply. The geocoder.us service provides
latitude and
Hi.
I'm a new MapServer user, and I've got a few questions about connecting to
Postgres:
1. How do you connect to a postgres database, both locally and over a
network,
2. How do I pull spatial and non-spatial layers through the
connection, and
3. Is there any way to join
I did another mistake on a View. Solved that, now it works (but only
with views...)
Thanks
Piero.

Hi all,
I finally resolved the problem. It was a mix of:
- A wrong projection section in the layer.
- A wrong stored path in the tile index.
Big kudos for all of you that helped me, Rahkonen Jukka, Frank
Warmerdam, David Fawcett and Oscar (from Mexico). David and Oscar gave
me further assistance
