[libreoffice-marketing] LinuxTag
Hello, LinuxTag is approaching (May 8-10 in Berlin) and this year, we need to know in advance how many people will attend on behalf of the LibreOffice project. So far I know from Jacqueline, Andreas, Alex, a friend of Alex and myself that they are attending. For better coordination, could you give me a short heads-up if you intend to attend as well, and if so, during which days? Thanks a lot, Florian -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: marketing+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/marketing/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted

If hotels prices are a concern for people attending, they could look at what's available through this site: https://www.airbnb.com I book all my accommodation through this site these days. Works really well, and beats hotel prices by a lot. No affiliation on my part.. I just use the site, and thought it worth sharing. Hi :) What does the %20 in the url mean? Do we have to have it? Can we remove it to increase clarity? Regards from Tom :) On 16 April 2014 11:37, Daniel A. Regards from Tom :) %20 represents a space whcih was used in the original filename.. You cannot have spaces in a standard URL so it is replaced with the ASCII encoded value for a space, represented by %20. Short answer... you cannot remove the space unless the filename is changed. Re: [libreoffice-marketing] LibreOffice pencil box
From the Wiki page --- Sharing links to files in Common To share a read-only link to a file or folder inside Common with someone who doesn't have a TDF ownCloud account, just shorten the URL as described below... For example, Here's the private URL you'll see via WebDAV: davs://owncloud.documentfoundation.org/remote.php/webdav/Shared/Common/QA/Triage_Contest_2013 Or in your web browser: https://owncloud.documentfoundation.org/index.php/apps/files?dir=/Shared/Common/QA/Triage_Contest_2013 ...and here's the public URL: https://owncloud.documentfoundation.org/Common/QA/Triage_Contest_2013 Notes about Common We use mod_rewrite magic to make this work It only works with the shared Common folder Public urls for the Common folder provide read-only access. Given a public URL for any item in the Common folder, a user may browse the entire contents of the Common folder. I take out the index.php/apps/files?dir=/Shared/ part of the link and then go from there. I just tested the process with some of my offering. . . . Right now, I am having issues sharing individual files, when I did not before. So it may be an issue why it is not working. IT keeps telling me that my file is either not there or cannot be shared. Why I try to make sure sharing it turned on, it tells me that resharing is not allowed. So something is not working right now. On 04/16/2014 06:37 AM, Daniel A. I would have no problem creating a wiki page for the project, or even host it on one of my own domains, but the big issue now is the fact in March I was able to download the file using the link, and now I cannot.
