Oh - I wouldn't go all frown face on that price - 450 pages. Put another way, if you have a reasonable source for producing at the same or better quality, on-demand - and can bring that in for cheaper then LuLu can do, I really suggest you let the folks at ODFAuthors know cause I bet they would be interested. But yeah, making paper, putting ink on, binding and shipping it - it's expensive, dollars and resources both.
