I understand she's using sshfs instead of sftp with nautilus? iirc, sshfs is just a hack to mount sftp somewhere in your tree. nautilus' sftp:// works the same and is -i guess- much easier to setup. I would advise her to try to use nautilus connect to server (File -> connect to server -> SSH). E
