OK, as promised here is the breakdown of what is being worked on and
what needs to be done. Please correct, and then let's get working on
this. We really need to get this done by next weekend. (I might have
made some mistakes, as I'm kind of tired)

The chair of OSCON used to be a GNOME contributor. We can probably ask
him regarding any confusion on the criteria. I'm not that bullish of
manning the booth but I will if it will help the cause.

Perhaps if we had a more flashy booth with lights and booth
entertainment.
That said, I'm sorry I missed your lightening talk. Unfortunately, it
seems there is a quota on number of conferences I could go to, and I
used mine up.

Colinux (http://www.colinux.org) allows you to run linux simulataneously
with windows and it seems to me that if we could find a way to automate
this on a livecd of some sort we could allow people to try out GNOME in

It seems to me that we aren't using blogs to good advantage. A lot of
them have a talk back feature based on subject.(so I understand) It
would be cool to be able to record when someone talks about GNOME in
their blog and have some kind of hit counter to know how well known our
brand is.

I've added a list of articles for those who want to do articles but
don't know what to cover. These are articles that I felt might be
interesting to the community and to regular audiences.

Id like to know what happend at GOSCON which took place in Portland OR
last week. I was unable to go due to some time constraints so I kind of
missed an opportunity to talk to several govt groups. What happned over
there, Tim? Think you could give us a quick summary?

I definitely like the layout and it's very non-intimidating. Putting
information out succinctly should be an important goal in our web page
and I think this is a good step towards that.

Alright. As for the size of the booth, I believe it is 10x10.
My brother said he might help me design one as well. But yeah, if you
could sent it that would be cool. I can probably send it back with
someone going back to California or whatever.

districts, government, and purchasing depts from companies and getting
real feedback from them would be cool. It might give us a better random

Is there a mailing list or home page that you're advertising your
translation on? Just curious as I'd like to see a pointer to it on the
