(Was Charlie Hebdo’s refugee cartoon) Saman Sepehr said (in part) They have become (and have been for a while) racist Islamophobic apologists for France's supposed superior Republican ideas under the guise of being against "religion". Ken Hiebert replies: I don't have a problem with republican ideas. Do they include separation of church and state, abolition of the monarchy and aristocracy? I think those ideas are superior to what came before. The editors may believe that they are fighting for such ideas.
