This resolution seems to have widespread support. It mandates that immigrant and refugee rights become a top priority for the *national* organization, as it already is for many Locals. The purpose of the resolution is precisely to get that National Office and Leadership to support and coordinate these local efforts. I wrote it in collaboration with a number of other comrades.
