An article by the very sharp Eric Blanc that deals with the problems of the CPUSA's relations with a nascent labor party. Since much of his documentation rests on Theodore Draper, I am not surprised that he reaches some of the same conclusions I did in an article on third party efforts historically. I probably go much further than Eric in endorsing the La Follette Progressive Party campaign of 1924.
