Portugal: Left Bloc in struggle to regain unity after convention By Dick Nichols December 13, 2014 Links International Journal of Socialist Renewal -- After its ninth national convention, held in Lisbon on November 22-23, 2014, it really looked as if Portugals Left Bloc were in serious troublesplit right down the middle. And split not over insuperable differences of political perspective but over its leadership model and who, as national coordinator, should be its public face.
