Some more examples for the increasing militarization. And the lockdown
is here to stay for some time. And after it, many police state measures
will remain in place.
Comrades, who support the lockdown, should ask themselves:
How long shall the lockdown last or when do you think it is no longer
legitimate to support it?
We will surely agree that the Corona Virus will not disappear in a few
weeks. Influenza, HIV etc. have also not disappeared. So when it is
legitimate to lockdown whole people now, it would be logically to
support specific police state, surveillance measures also in the future.
Don’t you fear that supporting such policy objectively results in
support for suppression of democratic rights?
And I can not refrain from pointing out that it seems inconsistent to me
that people did not support draconic measures like the present when
other epidemic took place (or other dangerous things like tobacco or
alcohol which also claims many lives every year), but now suddenly all
these police state measures seem to be legitimate?!
