The UAW announces that they will be shutting down assembly lines for the infamous 8 minutes and 46 seconds on Juneteenth. This comes after the Amalgamated Transit Union has made sure their bus drivers don't become "bust" drivers for arrested protesters and the ILWU is shutting down the West Coast ports on Juneteenth. The general social turmoil is starting to have an effect on the union bureaucracy.
