Much of this discussion...if you can call it that.. has focused on the specific
individuals in the case.
The difference here is that the victim is discussing the case decades after the
incident. She puts into a perspective no one else can.
The domestic violence victims often are

woman) simply because the rapist is an elite movie director who has suffered
some tragic events. The victim does not get to decide that rape is something
