A number of communist parties, as well as progressive sections in Europe, have condemned a controversial resolution passed by the European Parliament on September 19. The resolution was tabled by the center-right European People’s Party group (EPP Group). While emphasizing the importance of “remembrance” for the future of Europe, the resolution goes so far as to equate communism with Nazism.
