13K watching at 408 PM EDT anchor just showed that Florida is 130 miles wide and 350 miles long - and Hurricane Irma is bigger than that - so "Irma will swallow all of Florida" - and that just painted a picture in my mind graphic showed 145 MPH winds when storm hits Homestead FL at 7 AM on Sunday - will drop to 75 MPH when it gets up to Jacksonville intense damage area maybe will be 50 miles wide - the anchor sorta did that same calculation that I did earlier if Irma ramps up to a Cat 5 - damage will be worse - but there is no mention of it ramping up - but ya never know -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "massfire" group.
