actually - the family evacuated from Key Biscayne to friends in Tampa
- the hurricane followed them - they had some water in the house in
Tampa - they heard that their neighborhood in Key Biscayne had
flooding - the reporter said "they were better off in Tampa" - the
lady from the family said "it is totally out of our hands"

it was a "last minute shift" in the hurricane position that caught '
many people ' off guard

bottom line - the billions in dollars spent on weather forecasting,
warning systems, talking head fools on TV, air head politicians, and
preparedness was worse than useless - ( if you consider the risk of
doing an evacuation in heavy traffic in a automobile )

Hurricane Irma

NBC News at 738 AM EDT

2017-09-11 Thread Peter Szerlagi
NBC Morning Show (or whatever it is called) just talked to the Florida
governor on some crappy phone that kept cutting out

governor has no idea how bad damage is in the keys - he heard from
(USCG) that there is significant damage in the Keys

28 states are sending help

next they will interview a family that did NOT evacuate - they will
glamorize these people
