435 PM - the sun is casting shadows but the air is thick with haze -
kinda weird - visibility is about 1 mile for me - I can just barely
see the bld that is 1 mile from me but it is much brighter outside
than it was an hour or two ago

2 PM ish - I heard a big helo fly over Arlington Center very slowly -
visibility seems to be about 1.5 to 2 miles from my vantage point - I
dont know if it is better or worse at 1000 feet - I would guess that
it is worse considering how dark it looks up there
