Today is the day scheduled to be the feature freeze for 1.3.0.
We should get all PRs that are close to ready for inclusion tagged as
1.3.0 (or 1.3.x blocker if they represent a serious bug).
At the moment, we have 8 blocker bugs, of which only 3 of which seem to
require much much effort at this
As of now, we have 14 issues on the 1.2.x milestone, plus 6 issues on
the 1.2.x known bugs milestone.
Since there's still a lot of work to be done on these before the rc1,
I'm thinking I will continue to hold off on creating a 1.2.x branch.
(Creating the branch would mean all of the pending PR
