Hello all, I have a few queries related to modeling of TCSC, TCPS (thyristor controlled phase shifter) and SVC. Appreciate if someone can clarify whether my understanding is correct (as below):
1. TCSC can be modelled as simple reactance (in p.u.) either added or subtracted to the respective line reactance ‘x’ (in mpc.branch) matrix. 2. The phase shifter angle (in degree) can be input to the ‘angle’ column in mpc.branch matrix. 3. SVC rating (in MVAR) can be input in column ‘b’ of mpc.bus matrix. Thank you n regards, Partha
