Hi, if you have problems with Hash.MD5 function (and other hashes), please use current 4.2pr4 plugin. The bug was fixed in 4.2pr1 and was broken in 4.1 (maybe 4.0, too).
By the way, using 4.2pr4 also gives you latest OpenSSL and CURL, so you benefit from recent security fixes there.
