SAS Developer 6 month contract · Ability to import and export any type of data to SAS files, manipulate and transform data, combine SAS data sets, create basic detail and summary reports using SAS procedures, and identify and correct data syntax and programming logic errors. · Ability to design, write and debug macro systems. Create macro variables in the data step and SQL. · Define and call macros and retrieve macro variables in the data step. Delimit macro variable name. · Create automatic macro variables and user-defined macro variables · Design, code, test and implement changes to existing and new application software. Associated components with minimal assistance and direction. Providing programming and analysis assistance to operational divisions (such Finance, Providers, Claims, Membership departments) of the company. · Follow all Data Analysis and reporting System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and producers. Modifying existing SAS programs to meet the new requirements. Assist in capturing business requirements provide technical specs and SAS code for complex annual, quarterly, monthly reports. · Work with team members and independently to resolve production problems, prepare programming time estimates.
