2. Phone Screen (in front of a computer for collaborative coding exercise –
1 hour)

   - Joint lab application where they will present a scenario and and ask
   the candidate to demonstrate how they will make it better
   - Looking for understanding of Event* Driven Architecture & Domain
   Driven Design*
   - Looking for understanding of *Java 8*
   - Looking for understanding of *Critical thinking skills*
   - Assess the strengths of candidates

3. Send document with an offline exercise to deliver a production ready
solution including test.

   - Not time limit to this take home exercise
   - Design and build a production application including testing/scripts
   - Kind of code that they would put in front of their customers.  Total
   coverage in the test scripts
   - Focused on design patterns and why they would use them
   - Evaluated by 4 people.  If at least 2 people like, they will move to

4. Final

   - Team interview

*Minimum Requirements:*

The Lead Engineer will drive development teams to solutions applying
iterative methods to deliver software that enriches the lives of its end
users while exhibiting high internal and external quality.

*Skills and Qualifications (Everything in this section MUST be
quantifiable) *

   - 4 year Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent subject or
   experience
   - 5 - 10+ years of experience building *object-oriented solutions*
   - Extensive experience building highly scalable, concurrent, large
   volume, event-driven systems
   - 5 - 10+ years of experience in test-driven development and continuous
   integration
   - Need to have a very strong understanding of *Event Driven Architecture
