The desired candidate should possess a strong track record with large projects in complex environments and is expected to assist to help with complex Ohio Benefits Operations. The Oracle Database PL/SQL Developer is responsible for data analysis and database management. Oracle Database Administrators will be involved in maintenance, enhancement, designing of data repositories, physical and logical database models, and performance tuning. Database Developers have a range of skills and knowledge including of Materialized View Log and Oracle Database triggers. *Key Responsibilities and Scope of Activities:* · Creates and maintains all PL/SQL required for development, testing, education and production usage. · Develop MV log Refresh script for transfer of Data from OLTP database into EDW. · Specifically use the MV log technology as a Change Data Capture tool. · Design and Develop Database Trigger and Views to enable BI enhanced MV’s · Organize Data in EDW in different schemas like staging , cdc, Target. · Understand the requirement to create Dimensional Model from OLTP system. · Develop Data structures which allows ROLAP /OLAP Cubes , Use PL/SQL load scripts to perform Data load / Transformation. · Performs ongoing tuning of the database instances. This includes partitioning of Large Tables and Proper Indexing. · Controls migrations of programs, database changes, reference data changes and menu changes through the development life cycle. · Implements and enforces row level security for all of the Oracle Databases using security views. · Understands Row processing using Cursors and Oracle Analytical Function Qualifications: · In-depth experience in managing/operating information solutions · Candidate should have a combination of strong communication/facilitation skills with conceptualization/design skills · Strong applied knowledge of software development efforts through implementation including good design, documentation and supportability practices · Five years’ experience managing multiple complex systems with · Demonstrated leadership of multidiscipline, high-performance work teams/groups; · Demonstrated high competency in execution of multiple large projects · Experience working in a program management office (PMO) using project and portfolio management tools · Candidate should have a minimum of ten years of experience in IT, with at least three years in Deployment, Maintenance and Operations Project Management · Candidate should have a combination of strong communication/facilitation skills with conceptualization/design skills. *Other Requirements: * · Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field · Knowledge of software implementation methodologies such as SDLC, Agile, etc. · General knowledge of application architecture and data modeling · Knowledge of interfacing with various applications, management information systems, data structures, systems analysis and design, and programming languages · Ability to design, implement and modify systems · Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team · Strong organizational skills · Verbal and written communication skills · Interpersonal/human relations skills -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MCMS" group.
