*Description of Work:*

Hennepin County is continuing to move forward on its multi-year transition
to the Microsoft suite of tools which includes the retirement of Lotus
Notes as an application platform, and is recreating many custom-built
applications on top of Microsoft SharePoint to serve the enterprise. There
is a need for a skilled SharePoint Solutions Developer who can build
complex solutions within SharePoint and/or InfoPath, (as outlined in the
duties below) to ensure the Lotus Notes Conversion to SharePoint's
solutions are architected in the proper manner and that deliverables are
successfully met in accordance with project timetables.

Tasks for the SharePoint Solutions Developer:


   - Work with project team to build from gathered requirements, business
   solutions (sometimes very complex) in SharePoint 2013 and/or InfoPath 2013,
   including interfacing with other applications/systems.
   - Follow standards and guidelines about Hennepin County's SharePoint
   2013 environment from project team, enterprise SharePoint web team, and
   County IT management, including the SharePoint Product Owner.
   - Mentor and guide other project SharePoint Solutions Developers, as
   well as SharePoint Site Owners who are growing their knowledge  of
   SharePoint
   - Understand and support SharePoint governance rules and able to
   communicate them.


Skills Required


   - Excellent knowledge of SharePoint (preferably 2013) and InfoPath
   capabilities, functionality and best practices.
   - Experience building workflows and leveraging web services
   - Experience with migration tools (preferably Quest, and optimally with
   Lotus Notes content)
   - Excellent communication and documentation skills.
   - Ability to multi-task and manage multiple requests.


Additional Comments (optional):


   - Experience in SharePoint User Interface Design, SharePoint Search
   configuration, and/or the ability to deliver SharePoint training (Site
   Collection Administrator, Site Owner, Contributor, etc.) are not required
   in the candidate, but are highly desired.
