Binge highly proficient with IIS and powershell script troubleshooting is a plus. The Configuration Engineer will work with business and technical personnel to help setup and maintain non production web servers as well as build servers. Strong C# and web services is a MUST!! * Job Functions:* • Document configuration and dependencies in legacy environment • Setup, configure and maintain IIS web servers and other services • Work with other technical personnel to troubleshoot build issues • Schedule and perform system maintenance to maximize the efficiency of IT efforts • Field incoming problem requests from end users to resolve application and software issues within a Windows environment and other mission-critical systems • Identify opportunities to reduce Build, Deployment, and Configuration complexity for applications through automated solutions • Identify and recommend simplifying environment • Identify differences between multiple test environments and between test and production • Design, execute and document baseline performance of build and deployment process • Recommend optimizations to hardware/software configurations and environment setup • Provide coaching and assistance to the development teams for the creation and execution of newly developed functionality - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent years of experience - Understanding of Object-Oriented programming techniques (.Net), SDLC, Unit Test Techniques, Debugging/Analytical Techniques a plus - Experience with configuration of Web Services (REST, HTTP/S, TCP/IP) - 1 to 4 years using and administrating IT environments - continuous integration environment within a build automation tool; CruiseControl.Net preferred o management of Virtual Machines in a Microsoft environment; Hyper-V preferred - management of databases; Microsoft SQL Server preferred - 1+ years of PowerShel Experience in one of the following areas: 1. IIS Configuration and Troubleshooting 2. .NET Web Services Development 3. Manual install and Troubleshooting of new or existing environments (someone who can take an existing system fix it or build it up from scratch to a production ready environment) 4. Administrative skills (complex scripting in bash or PowerShell, installations, and troubleshooting) 5.
