*Web and Social Media Project Manager*
This position is with the Project Management Division located within the
Office of Innovation at College Park, MD.

You will serve as an IT Project Manager with a focus on Web and Social
Media projects including projects for development of new websites, web
redesigns, and implementation of new social media tools, analytics
packages, and mobile experiences. Responsible for shepherding projects from
start to finish; coordinate with business owners, subject matter experts,
acquisitions staff, IT security staff, and IT project managers.  Provides
expert technical guidance to management on web and social media projects,
including recommendations that align with government and other applicable
standards and requirements. Works as Contracting Officer's Representative
on assigned projects and contracts; develops business needs statements,
business cases, independent government cost estimates from market research,
requirements, statements of work or performance work statements, managing
the proposal review and vendor selection process, and overseeing the work
of contractors. Works closely with Information Services on issues related
to IT policy, security, Cloud hosting, and NARA's System Development
Lifecycle and Enterprise Architecture. Works with NARA Acquisitions Office
on issues related to the IT budget and acquisition. Supports fellow IT
Project Managers and colleagues on related efforts within the Office of
Innovation.

The Office of Innovation is responsible for NARA's Open Government and
Digital Strategy efforts, the National Archives Catalog, NARA's
digitization strategy and partnerships, and the National Archives' web and
social media presence. To support these efforts, the Office of Innovation
develops, maintains and coordinates: the description program; agency-wide
business architecture; metadata standards and authorities; and provides
internal digitization labs, intranet, and social media programs. The Office
also manages NARA's Innovation Hub activities.The Office of Innovation
works in collaboration with the Office of Information Services for all IT
systems development projects.
