The Hammer Museum at UCLA in Los Angeles is hiring a Digital Communications Manager, reporting to me. This role manages all of our social media, and also works on website content, and email marketing.
Feel free to contact me directly with any questions. https://hammer.ucla.edu/index.php?id=588#c28085 Reporting to the Associate Director, Digital Content, the Digital Communications Manager contributes to the Hammer Museum's publicity, media, and outreach efforts by overseeing the daily publishing and tracking of content on the Museum's social media channels, social media advertising, e-marketing, and website. The Digital Communications Manager writes copy daily to populate all digital media platforms, serving as a primary voice of the museum as well as a real-time source of information for museum visitors and the news media. This position acts as a primary liaison to the public, facilitates online community engagement, and is a key contributor to growing online audiences for the museum's acclaimed exhibitions and robust slate of talks, films, performances and other public programs. The Digital Communications Manager is part of the Communications Department and works with colleagues in marketing, media production, graphic design, and media relations. This position also works closely with all facets of the museum, including the Public Programs, Curatorial, Development and Visitor Experience teams.
