We are at the beginning stages. We have the opportunity to hire someone
to help us research and begin creating a Request for Proposal. Our goal
is to not to start any scanning, but to research what our needs are,
identify potential collaborators, and define our goals and mission.

anyone recommend a Digital Asset Management for an *archaeological* based
collection? Or, if you are willing to share with me (offline) any programs
you would not recommend?

I am putting together a session for the Southeastern Museum Conference on
November 7-9, 2012 in Williamsburg, Virginia. I am looking for a fourth
panelist to join us for a roundtable multi-collection discipline question
and answer session. The ideal person will need to have
We are an archaeological repository, with primarily collections acquired
through Cultural Resource Management projects. We are currently at the
beginning of creating a digital collection. We have received funds to
create a digital archive of one of our larger collections. We will be

manage these photos and their categories. I know that in the end - we will
