I'm looking to the list for recommendations for a very brief history of the web (and related developments), and how it has changed over the past 15-20 years.
It's for a talk to an audience with little prior knowledge of the subject, so a bulleted list or an infographic highlighting, for example, the rise of internet participation/social media/mobile over time would be great. A global or North American slant is fine. Credit will, of course, be given.
