***Welcome back to ARCS Update!*** Welcome back to your bi-weekly ARCS Update! First, we wanted to thank Lisa Tillotson, Registrar at the Nickel Galleries, University of Calgary, for all her years as the chair of the Communications Committee and as the one in charge of the ARCS Update. Lisa crafted the text for the past few years and we all appreciate her hard work and dedication compiling news and information in previous ARCS Updates. Thanks again, Lisa!
Now to the future. My name is Robin Bauer Kilgo and for the past few years I’ve worked for ARCS as their Communications and Member Service Manager as well as working as a Contract Registrar in the Southeast. I’m lucky enough to be joined on the ARCS Update Committee by the current ARCS Board President and Head of Collections Management at the Freer Sackler, Danielle Hall Bennett, and two new committee members, Heather Culligan, Registrar at the Tampa Bay History Center, and Kristin Hatch, Collection Manager at The Buffalo History Museum. Together, we will gather information and produce the updates you will receive regularly. ARCS has many exciting new projects planned in the next few months, so be sure to keep an eye out for updates about workshops, live streaming #ARCSChats, and future meetups!
