This position will lead enterprise-wide web design efforts with a
particular emphasis on Archives.gov, blogs, Presidential Libraries, and
related websites.

Duties:

   - Gathers, reviews, and analyzes requirements in collaboration with
   business owners, project managers, and technical staff. Evaluates digital
   design projects with respect to usability requirements and audience needs,
   and recommends changes.
   - Develops advanced experience in creating design mockups, wireframes,
   storyboards, content maps, user-flows, prototypes to meet user needs, and
   iterates based on user feedback; navigation, interfaces, layouts, and
   typography that are focused on user need; and designing and building web
   pages, user interface features, site animations, data visualizations, and
   other digital design elements using a variety of graphics software
   applications, techniques, and tools.
   - Defines user needs, preferences, and behaviors through qualitative and
   quantitative research and analysis. Implements user-centered design
   methodologies including interviews, journey mapping, task flow analysis,
   card sorting, and multivariate testing. Translates findings of user
   research into tangible design recommendations. Coordinates and conducts
   usability testing of prototypes and existing digital products with target
   audiences. Captures target audience feedback and incorporates that feedback
   into new designs and future iterations.
   - Participates in establishing and enforcing design standards and
   guidelines for NARA's digital products. The incumbent collaborates with
   senior specialist and Creative Services staff to develop recommendations
   for visual design standards for NARA's brand identity in the digital space
   and for maintaining those identity standards in all online channels.
   Participates in the development, implementation, and promotion of a shared
   set of digital design guidelines and best practices. Working with senior
   specialist, assures enforcement of design standards and requirements for
   multiple digital products and business units across the organization
   including websites, social media, and mobile applications.

Position Summary



  

Title:   Constituent Relationship Program Manager and 
Strategist

Status:  M&P, Full-Time

Reports to:   Chief Financial Officer

Summary: 

Responsible for overall management of the centralized constituent management 
system (Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge and RE NXT) and the quality of constituent 
data.  Serves as primary contact and advocate for all internal stakeholder 
groups involved in projects and workflows regarding the ingestion, integration, 
analysis, maintenance and utilization of constituent data.  Responsible for 
fully understanding the scope and potential application of the constituent data 
being collected.  And as a member of the cross-institutional CRM Steering 
Committee, helps to define project priorities and to drive system solutions 
related to effective and efficient use of constituent data.

Responsibilities:

CRM Strategy

·  Along with and as a member of the CRM Steering Committee develops the 
institution-wide Constituent Relationship Management strategy and facilitates 
the adoption and implementation of the strategy.

·  Responsible for all aspects of constituent data in order to provide 
relevant and accurate information for all internal stakeholder areas. 

·  Plays an active role in the growth of CRM initiatives, often as project 
lead, with the CRM Steering Committee, IT, and other stakeholders and 
departments.

·  Provides day-to-day and long-range administrative and analytical 
oversight of the Constituent Management System with overall responsibility for 
user access, data integrity and usability, documentation, and user support and 
training.

·  Stays abreast of emerging trends within the field of constituent 
databases.

·  Represents the Museum professionally at conferences and with other 
subject matter expert audiences.

System Analysis

·  Remains current with best practices and systems’ developments within the 
RE/RE NXT system for both database and user application opportunities. 

·  Creates reports, dashboards and other reporting tools for internal 
customers.

·  Collaborates with stakeholder groups (including but not limited to 
Advancement, Retail, and Marketing and Communications) to define requirements 
and to develop and document standards for policies, procedures, and common 
workflows for constituent data to assure successful integration of Raiser’s 
Edge with core systems.

·  Responsible for data imports, exports, global changes, de-duping and 
other administrative routines.

·  Conducts user training.  Develops and maintains training plans and 
documentation, ensuring all users have access to relevant and current reference 
materials.

·  Manages system customizations and administers specific user and group 
system privileges.

·  Responds to end-user support requests, analyzes and resolves application 
usage issues.

·  Assists in system upgrades, integrations, testing, and maintenance.

·  Tests and implement new policies and procedures against software 
capabilities.

 

Qualifications:

·  Bachelor’s degree required.

·  Minimum three to four years of practical CRM system experience in a 
museum or customer service organization focused on database management, 
software administration, data standards and practices, and data migration.  
(Blackbaud Raisers’ Edge preferred).

·  Demonstrated knowledge of relational databases and data handling across 
other system and web applications.

·  Ability to maintain the integrity of constituent data on a timely basis.

·  Excellent communication, and strong organizational and time-management 
skills.

·  Capability to handle multiple tasks under the pressure of deadlines.

·  Attention to detail, while able to think broadly and make connections 
about museum content.

·  Ability to work effectively and professionally with people at all 
levels, including external parties.

·  Strong interpersonal skills to work positively and pro-actively across 
the Museum.

·  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

We're hiring a Web Developer to join the SFMOMA Digital team.

Under the supervision of the Head of Web + Digital Platforms - that me :) - and 
in consultation with internal stakeholders, the Web Developer scopes, plans and 
executes code improvements on SFMOMA's main website, www.sfmoma.org. Further, 
the Web Developer supports the day-to-day maintenance of www.sfmoma.org, and 
contributes technical insight and software code to other SFMOMA web properties, 
application integrations and other projects.

This position is a critical member of the SFMOMA web team, a small in-house 
group that develops, builds, and maintains the SFMOMA website and other digital 
projects. The department's mission is to set strategy and policy around digital 
platforms and content, develop and test public facing digital experiences, 
create and disseminate digital content, and ensure that users have a consistent 
experience across all public-facing SFMOMA digital products.
