[MCN-L] [DAM SIG:] Using DAMS to Embed Alt Text

2017-11-30 Thread Rachael Winter Durant
Hi all - The Portland Art Museum has been examining different ways to improve
accessibility both online and physically in the Museum (big question!). As the
Digital Assets Manager here, I'm especially interested with the digital side.
With that in mind, I'd love to know if any/many institutions are making use of
DAMS to embed alt text descriptions into images? If not, do you have a
different workflow that you'd recommend?

Thanks!

Re: [MCN-L] InfoSec/Compliance Consulting

Hi all,

Black Hills Information Security has been recommended to me. If for some reason
they cannot fulfill your requirements then I'm sure they can refer you to a
trusted service provider. Melisa Wachs I believe will be a great first point of
contact. mel...@blackhillsinfosec.com

Hope that helps,
Olivia

Subject: [MCN-L] InfoSec/Compliance Consulting

Hello all,

I'm curious if anyone knows of a consulting group that focuses on
nonprofits/small businesses, specifically in the area of information security
and compliance. After lots of discussion with several of you, it would seem
there is a need for such a thing, and I'm curious if I just haven't been able
to find them yet.

Thanks!
