[MCN-L] Microsoft & BPOC Survey

2020-05-11 Thread Alex Kron
Dear Colleagues,

65% of survey responses to Balboa Park Online Collaborative & Microsoft’s
survey so far indicate that GLAM institutions are interested in Microsoft
developing content and training materials around collaboration,
productivity, and remote working as part of their Microsoft Museums &
Libraries Initiative. Is there anything you would like to see Microsoft
develop for GLAM institutions? Please share your thoughts in the Microsoft
survey below.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Best regards,

[MCN-L] Share your project at our May DLF Museums Cohort call!

2020-05-11 Thread Gayle Schechter
If you missed April's virtual Museums Cohort call, you can catch up on Kraig
Binkowski's presentation on the processes and workflows used at the Yale Center
for British Art's Reference Library and Archives for creating bibliographic
citations for individual works of art in the museum's collection in TMS on
CLIR/DLF's YouTube channel.

We are currently seeking speakers for our next monthly call on May 27, 2 PM
(ET) / 11 AM (PT). If you have a project you want to share news about, or a
topic in the museums field you think we should discuss at our next meeting,
contact us at
i...@diglib.org.

Best,
Gayle
