Does anyone have any advice for getting the best possible results from a video playing on one of Samsung’s built-in media players in their DM or DB series monitors?
The file I’m using is showing the occasional strange compression or interpolation artifact during playback on the monitor, but they aren’t visible in Quicktime, so it’s something going on with the way the media player decodes the video. All motion interpolation and noise reduction settings on the monitor are turned off. Specs on the file are: 1920x1080 24fps H.264 .mp4 AVC Main Profile @L4.1 CABAC / 4 Ref Frames 15 Mbps CBR Stereo AAC 48KHz 317Kbps –– George Scharoun Manager of Exhibition and Gallery Media Museum of Fine Arts, Boston gschar...@mfa.org | 617-369-3512 www.mfa.org<http://www.mfa.org> _______________________________________________ You are currently subscribed to mcn-l, the listserv of the Museum Computer Network (http://www.mcn.edu) To post to this list, send messages to: mcn-l@mcn.edu To unsubscribe or change mcn-l delivery options visit: http://mcn.edu/mailman/listinfo/mcn-l The MCN-L archives can be found at: http://www.mail-archive.com/mcn-l@mcn.edu/
