[MCN-L] Dreaming of a New Collections Management System: Episode 2 Recording

2021-01-15 Thread Alex Kron
Good Afternoon All,

Many thanks to our brilliant panelists Renee Bomgardner, Jodi Evans, Jeff
Steward, & Neal Stimler for participating in the second episode of BPOC’s
Dreaming of a New Collections Management System webinar series on January
13th. We had such a great turn-out again and we really enjoyed the depth of
the conversations we had around the very real challenges GLAM professionals
face in managing collections data in collections management systems (CMS).
Our discussion covered a wide range of challenges from getting staff to
understand data standards and why information is entered in certain fields
to trying to find the right CMS to meet the needs of multiple collections
of varying needs. For those who were unable to attend and are interested in
hearing more of this discussion, you may watch a recording of the webinar
at the following link .

We are planning our next webinar in this series which will dive deeper into
the technical challenges around collections management systems. If you are
interested in participating in this webinar whether as a panelist or just
contributing to the conversation please reach out to us.

Have a great weekend everyone!
