***Meet the Programming SubCommittee*** The programming subcommittee is the volunteer-run committee of ARCS responsible for bringing the ARCS membership educational programming via webinars and hands-on workshops. Due to COVID, the programming subcommittee has shifted to online programming, but hopes to soon transition back to some in-person programming!
This month the programming subcommittee has a webinar scheduled for March 25 on Digital Condition Reporting ( http://www.arcsinfo.org/news-events/event/1341/0/digital-condition-reporting), as well as a three-part webinar series on Leadership scheduled to start in the spring. The programming subcommittee is hard at work planning a packed schedule of programming for the next fiscal year. Some of the topics we will explore include resources for contract registrars, professional-skills development, and emergency preparedness topics. We want to cover topics that are important to the members of ARCS, so if you have ideas for future programming, please reach out to us at i...@arcsinfo.org. We would love to hear from you! ***Membership Giveaway*** ARCS is giving away one free individual, student, or retiree level 2021 membership! To enter the giveaway, click the link below. In our version of the conversation, however, we deconstruct the Revisionist History podcast "Dragon Psychology 101" by Malcolm Gladwell. Our panel includes Robin Cooper, the Manager of Curatorial Affairs at the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields, and Nicholas O’Donnell, Partner at the law firm Sullivan & Worcester in Boston, who argued on behalf of the museum membership in the now landmark Berkshire Museum deaccession case and recently presented in front of the US Supreme Court. https://youtu.be/aGH3Luh_8nk ***Upcoming Events and News*** -All Member Meeting March 16 at 1:00 p.m. ET- All Active Members of ARCS are invited to attend an All Members Meeting scheduled for March 16 at 1:00 p.m. ET.
