Hello members of the MCN listserv,

The Palmer Museum of Art at Penn State is happy to share its first digital
publication, "African Brilliance: A Diplomat's Sixty Years of Collecting,"
which accompanies the physical exhibition on view at the museum from February 8
through May 24, 2020. The exhibition showcases more than eighty works from
East, Central, and West Africa collected over six decades by retired U.S.
Ambassador Allen C. Davis.

The online catalogue features 360-degree photography of the African art
objects, as well as interviews with Davis and with members of the Penn State
community who have had firsthand experience with the types of objects presented
in the exhibition. The catalogue has been funded by a University Strategic
Initiative Seed Grant in support of advancing the arts and humanities, awarded
by Penn State's Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost.
