Hello, At the risk of sending a spammy-post, I wanted to let the members of the list know that the Tenement Museum just launched a new, web-based arts project.
The project is called we are multicolored and you can view it at www.wearemulticolored.com <http://www.wearemulticolored.com/> we are multicolored explores issues of national identity in a playful way: visitors can dismantle national flags to make their own personal flag. Once finished, each visitor's flag is added to a giant "superflag," an ever-expanding, constantly shifting digital quilt of flags. Visitors to the site can also learn about the meanings of colors and symbols on various national flags through a visual glossary. We think this is a fun and thought-provoking project and certainly hope you agree. Any feedback is welcome.
