I have the JVC-MX3000 in a Honda Accord and the Pioneer MEH-P9000R (with organic EL display) in a Honda Civic. Ironically, you reach a point where you love the "flashing lights and gimmics" on the JVC unit. By the way, it's not cheesy--it's just different. Very flashy unit, really looks good
