Hello people,
After I eventually subscibed to this list I've now got a few questions =
to ask (in the vague hope they'll be answered...).

As I'm very nearly a student (gap-year sorta thing) I'm looking for
somewhere that sells a nicely priced mini-bookshelf system WITH a minidisc

Has anyone from the UK used Japan Direct (www.japan-direct.com) service

Did they accept normal bank cheques?
Did you have to pay an import tax, and how much was it?

Oh well. Anyway, the same thing happened with a Fun Lovin' Criminals CD
(100% Columbian if you must know) - first time I recorded it, it was fine.
