Hi, Mi, it seems to be just a little mistake in the units used for definition of the simulation. I always get this message when the PMLs are thicker than the simulation volume. F. > > 2012/11/15, Hongyi Mi : >> Dear All, >> >> I am trying to simulation a 2D structure with dimension about 50nm * >>

What is the size of your lattice and what is the size of your block/structure? In my experience, this error occurs when your lattice dimensions are not large enough to hold both your structure and the PML layers. Define your lattice dimensions to be (for example in x direction) atleast "size of b

Dear All, I am trying to simulation a 2D structure with dimension about 50nm * 50nm. The PML is 1um thick. But I meet a error: "invalid boundary absorbers for this grid_volume". Could you give any solution about this issue. Thank you. Best, Hongyi Mi _
