I am failing to compile meep with MPICH and HDF5. I successfully build
mpich-3.1.4 and hdf5-1.8.9.tar from source on a Debian Jessie machine. (Yes, I
tried the precompiled packages too. They throw out errors when trying to write
to the hdf5 files in mpi-mode.)
