detergent motor oil for 94cents/qt. Seems that if you
wanted to add an oil tonic (as Marshall calls it) to
your tank, this might be a very good choice. No?

Welcome to the list ! You asked about what are good fluids to use. There
is not a consensus of which motor oil to use but I think that the below
suggestions would be good choices. Some people seem to think that regular
oil is fine and have had good results with it.

They've been around for a while. I had never heard of them either
until they advertised a car for sale on Autotrader a couple of years
ago. Went in and spoke to several of the guys there, and they seemed
fairly knowledgeable about the older diesels. They also just happened
to have a 124 completely

I was at autozone the other day and in came a guy withe a small 2 gallon
canister with a weird contraption on it.
Said it was a old r-12 canister with a connector that you apply shop air to it
and it creates a vacuum. He used it to pull all the oil out of his engine that
way. Looked
