Pull off the cover under the steering wheel and have a look, there are a
million wires and without a wiring diagram you will find it difficult to
find a suitable circuit to tap into. perhaps consult an auto sparky to
do a proper job.

setup to the 123, where the fuses are accessible from the engine bay but
the bottom of the fuse box is gotten at from the divers foot well and
there is a lot of wiring relatively speaking.
