Hey John -
I cannot find where I bought mine (HD crashed I lost a lot) but
this maybe it.

There's a impact strip

The fit finish on the one I installed was perfect - no problems.

That's what the county uses to plow the roads around here.

No, it's a 1995 model with the OM606 24v in it.
IIRC, the OM606 turbo was 98-99.

IIRC, the 606NA had variable intake runner geometry of some sort and rated power
was between the 602 and 603 turbos without the turbo lag, making

Today was warm (50 or so) so I decided to crawl under the 300D to

I am perplexed. Some of the links appear to be installed backwards,

Well, it didn't take 10 years to get a peppier Diesel in the rest of

Try the EPC, you may be able to find something to make sense of it
all there.
If you haven't joined you can join for a year fror free. They ask

Gang,
The upper links are shot on the 300D. Is this a DIY repair that does not
require fancy tools (ie a spring compressor) or is the knuckle going to go
crazy once I disconnect the link. Is this work best done with the suspension
loaded or unloaded?
D.
Ah, the job I'm going to have to do on three cars fairly soon
The links can be put in either way, it's just a matter of flipping
them over. All are pretty much symetric except the new thrust
(diagonal) link, which can only be installed one way, but you can put
either side forward. I
If I remember correctly, this isn't a bad job. Don't strip the screw

could use a jack on the control arm to align the sway bar and ball
joint.
