Can't seem to find a crush anywhere. Anyone have a part number?
I found a fiber washer that was just the right diameter, tried that, and
it leaks even worse.
There are two O-rings on the hollow bolt, wondering if that's really my
problem. Does anyone know what size they are?

What year is it? Some of them had some kind of 4WD shifter thing that
had an electric heating element that heated a fluid, turned it into gas,
that caused a piston(s?) to move. they were notorious for bad

so, it seems like the front axle or something bangs 2 or 3 times then
kicks in. I also noticed today that when I took it out of 4wd, it did
not actually go back to 2wd till the next time I took a right turn

its a 95. It has a manual leaver on the floor which I guess is what
shifts the transfer case, but has an electronic actuator in the front
axle that I guess locks the hubs or whatever. That actuator is what I
replaced.

I believe some of those are electric activation of hydraulic
clutches, so low or bad fluid can do strange things in there, like
make them fail to shift in or out, or hang and bang when shifting
in or out of 4wd.
