If you find 4 deg or more of chain stretch, 'tis much easier to replace the chain and all the rails now, and you can install an endless chain vice one that needs a master link installed. If you live in a cold climate, might be easier to install a new block heater now. Re-sealing the injection

Oh, yes Mercedes ACC is wonderful. For ever 3 hours I spend working on the ACC system in my 110 degree garage I can drive an hour in comfort without having to adjust anything! Truly luxurious. I have to replace a component in the ACC on my 190DT about as often as I have to adjust the manual
