Would I buy another one? In a New York minute but it would be a 97 or

really, wearing current S Class panels. There was talk of killing the car
off, as sales are so soft compared to others in it's class, like the RR,
which was a big success for them. Also talk of a smaller Maybach, kind of

is much quicker than my 240D 4spd manual... It also handles better, gets better
mileage, starts easier in the cold and is quieter.
Its not quite as easy to work on though...

Every Mercedes, or any vehicle for that matter, has issues, just a
different set of issues for each chassis/engine. You'll get some different
issues to deal with which may be more pleasant...OR NOT. It's the same way
with my RC car hobby. That's the fun of it!
