I think Norton (symentic) AV whatever they call it (whatever year)
(suite or sour) is a virus in itself. It slows your machine, spews
junk allover your HD and can't be removed other than to wipe the
drive and reload.
If you don't believe me, install it (on a test machine),

Just picked up a nice, California rust-free W115 300D verified with only 125k
