It has never required more than a quart of each (Prestine Clean and
Rejuvenator) to do a single car for me. If you get some spray bottles you don't
use it up as quickly, either.
I know you can use Prestine Clean on MBTex, but I don't see any value in using
the Leather Rejuvenator. Of course,
So I finally swapped out the speedometer in my 1983 300TD. You all may
recall that 1) it made a nasty grinding noise at higher speeds, and 2) mph
was consistently 10 - 15 percent too high. I swapped in a used speedo with
a higher (newer) part number. The bad news is that the grinding noise is
Get a new cable, there is absolutely no point in lubricating a bad one, they
stick because they are worn out, not because they are dry. Save yourself the
hassle.

A quick laptop question for the knowledgeable members of the list.
I am going to purchase yet another used laptop. I don't need the latest and
greatest, it will be for web browsing and emails. I will also be used by my
teen aged sons, one of whom is extremely tough on equipment. Extremely.
All reassembled now; RR coolant temp. (gauge) sensor (the one on left side
of head by IP) and glow plugs; just took 'er for test drive; previously
erratic temp. gauge holds nice and steady at ~85C. Going now to get 'er
washed.

Except for the mil-spec laptops, the ThinkPads are arguably the most
