So I have some issue with the electrical part of the servo
(like the feedback potentiometer), or I've got a bunch of bad amps.
Sounds logical, yes. You need to look at the schematic
to see what is likely.
Are any schematics of the system and its sub-components (amps)
available?

Noticed a very small leak from the steering gear
on my '83 300D yesterday. Fluid level still on the
mark.
Someone mentioned putting an MB on a lift and
and replacing the shaft seal but I don't remember
which model/year.
Does anyone know if the shaft seal can be replaced
without removing the steer

So, my 450SLC 5.0 has the all-heat-all-the-time thing going on. Everyone
once in a while the climate control works exactly as it should, but about
95% of the time its just heat. I've been doing some diag, following the
processes
Interior looks black to me.
