So I have some issue with the electrical part of the servo (like the feedback potentiometer), or I've got a bunch of bad amps. Sounds logical, yes. You need to look at the schematic to see what is likely. Are any schematics of the system and its sub-components (amps) available? I have Scott

Noticed a very small leak from the steering gear on my '83 300D yesterday. Fluid level still on the mark. Someone mentioned putting an MB on a lift and and replacing the shaft seal but I don't remember which model/year. Does anyone know if the shaft seal can be replaced without removing the steer
